Designed in 1957 by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn, the CH33 is an ergonomic dining chair with finely sculptured features. The concept for the chair is rooted in striking the perfect balance between aesthetics and comfort. Wegner introduced subtle design details, such as tapered legs which are thickest where they need to support load-bearing joints with the seat’s rails, and are most slender at the end closest to the floor.
